Moving on to the next round!

We didn't bring our best game to the rink but had enough to get the job done. A 3 to 1 win over Warren in Eriksdale last night moves us into the "A" side for the league championship. Our first round is against the first place team, Stoney Mountain Flames. A very good team but slightly smaller than us....we will need to make that apparent early in the series.

Playoff Time!!!

The Lakeside Peewee's are ready for another playoff run. We won 3 of our last 4 games, beating the second place team 7-3 in our last regular season game! A team we have never beaten in our hockey lives. Sitting in fourth place in an 8 team league, we play a one game playoff tomorrow night against the fifth place team. Warren Wildcats. We beat them in a close series 2 seasons ago.The winner of tomorrows game moves to playoff for the "A" division banner and the loser plays for the "B" banner. Then we will have to win 2, best of 3 game series to clinch a league banner. Our team has had playoff success in the past and have been growing into a very well rounded team. I am looking forward to it!!
